The Difference Between Vow and Self-Control
A lady wanted to control herself by not doing something, and she said: I will never do it, like Christmas or eyebrow shaping. However, she does not remember whether she said: I will never do it for my entire life or just for this year, and she also does not know if it was in the form of a vow or not. What is the ruling on her statement?

I say, and with God's help: If you do not remember, nothing is required of you until you remember; due to the non-obligation of vows and oaths in case of doubt, and God knows best.
