A woman miscarried her fetus in the sixth month; should it be washed, wrapped in a shroud, and prayed over?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Prayer is only performed for what comes out alive and then dies. As for what comes out dead, it is sufficient to wrap it in a cloth and bury it. It is permissible to wash it before that, and God knows best.
