If the rabbit dies before being slaughtered with a knife, is it permissible to eat it? Whether it is a rabbit or another animal?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If hunting a rabbit is permissible by mere wounding and not by slaughtering, if it dies before the hunter reaches it and is able to slaughter it, and if it is domesticated, it is only permissible by slaughtering with a knife. And God knows best.
