The Criticism of Lady Aisha

Question
I had a conversation with a Shia who narrated to me hadiths about Lady Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that criticize her and her status, claiming that they are authentic and found in Sahih Bukhari. Among them is the hadith of breastfeeding an adult, and a hadith about a man who stayed with Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and then began to wash his garment, and another hadith that I do not remember the content of, which states that she bathed in front of those who are not allowed to see her. What is your response to them and what is the authenticity of these hadiths?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is known that Lady Aisha, may God be pleased with her, was testified to her purity and chastity by the Lord of Glory, and her purity was made a Quranic verse recited, as in Surah An-Nur: {Indeed, those who came with slander are a group among you. Do not think it is bad for you; rather, it is good for you. For every person among them is what he has earned of sin, and the one who took upon himself the greater part of it will have a great punishment.....} [An-Nur: 11]. These hadiths have many interpretations and meanings. The first hadith regarding the nursing of an adult is a matter of ijtihad, in which Lady Aisha took a stance that was opposed by others. What she stated regarding the prohibition of adult nursing was her ijtihad, may God be pleased with her, based on the hadith narrated that Salim, the freed slave of Abu Hudhayfa, was with Abu Hudhayfa and his family in their house. So the daughter of Suhail came to the Prophet, peace be upon him, and said: 'Salim has reached the age of men and understands what they understand, and he enters upon us. I think there is something in the heart of Abu Hudhayfa regarding this.' The Prophet, peace be upon him, said to her: 'Nurse him, and you will make him unlawful for you, and what is in the heart of Abu Hudhayfa will go away.' She returned and said: 'I have nursed him.' So what was in the heart of Abu Hudhayfa went away, as narrated in Sahih Muslim 2: 1076. The second matter is regarding washing the semen from a man's garment due to a wet dream. Lady Aisha, the Mother of the Believers, may God be pleased with her, taught him that rubbing is sufficient, as is established in the Sunnah. It is narrated from Alqamah and Al-Aswad that a man came to Aisha, and in the morning he was washing his garment. Aisha said: 'It is sufficient for you, if you see it, to wash the place. If you do not see it, then sprinkle around it. I have seen myself rubbing it from the garment of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, and then praying in it,' as in Sahih Muslim 1: 238. Only one with suspicion in his heart would misunderstand this, regarding whom God has purified and who was the wife of His Prophet, peace be upon him. How many times do we read these hadiths and see nothing in them when our hearts were filled with love for the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, and his wives? And God knows best.
