The Black Dress for Women
I have a question regarding loose religious clothing. Is it a requirement for it to be black? I wear religious clothing and a religious scarf that covers up to the thighs, but I like colors other than black - of course, calm colors - so is black a tradition?

I say: And with God's help: The legal dress is not specific to black for women, nor is black a Sunnah; rather, it should not cause fitnah (temptation) or draw attention, nothing more. And God knows best.
