Question
A person contacted me to disburse the Fitr charity on their behalf with the promise to return the amount to me. I was unable to deliver it before the Eid prayer, but I informed a family that they have money with me. Does this count as the Fitr charity for that person?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to give Zakat al-Fitr before and after the Eid prayer, although it is preferable to give it before. And God knows best.
