I say, and with God's help: There is no commitment to a specific school of thought in fatwas in Jordan, nor in all of the Levant now, and historically; because these are intermediate lands, so there are always followers from the scholars of the Sunni schools of thought, and fatwas are generally issued according to the Sunni schools, and this is what is followed in the Fatwa Department, and God knows best.
