I say, and with God's success: Games that waste life and time and are for entertainment are not permissible. The hadith of the Prophet, peace be upon him, in Sahih Muslim: "Whoever plays with dice has dipped his hand in the blood of a pig" is explicit in prohibition due to it being idle amusement, even if one is maintaining their prayers; because the duties and responsibilities of life do not end.
