The Ablution of the Sitting Person Who is Able
What is the ruling on the ablution of someone who sits on their seat waiting for prayer, falls asleep, and does not hear the call to prayer?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If the sitting position is stable such that the buttocks are on the ground and have not risen, then the ablution is not invalidated even if one sleeps; due to the lack of relaxation of the buttocks, and God knows best.
