Is it permissible to perform tayammum on the ground that has been purified by the sun and wind after being affected by impurity?
Answer
It is not permissible; this is due to the requirement of pure soil in the act of tayammum, as stated in His Almighty's words: (So perform tayammum with pure soil); and because dirt is pure and purifying, and when it dries after impurity, it becomes pure but not purifying, even if it is permissible to pray on it.
