Tayammum for People to Catch the Funeral Prayer
We were at a funeral, and during the prayer, we instructed people to perform tayammum so they could join us in the prayer. Is this action correct?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible for one who fears missing the funeral prayer to perform dry ablution (tayammum) and pray it so that he does not miss its reward. And God knows best.
