Tax Calculation from Zakat
Is tax considered part of zakat; because in the time of Islamic states there was only zakat without tax?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Tax is not considered as zakat, and there is no similarity between them; thus, zakat is not waived by paying tax, and God knows best.
