I say, and with God's help: Performing the Tawaf (circumambulation) at a distance from the house while walking briskly is better if there is no crowding in the area. If it cannot be done easily or without some effort, then performing the Tawaf at a distance while walking briskly is better than being close without walking briskly. If the people are crowded, one should be patient until the crowd disperses before walking briskly. And God knows best.
