Taking the Difference When Authorized to Purchase
I bought a piece of makeup, and my friend asked for the same one. She asked me about the price, and I told her the price. I found the same one at a lower price. Is it permissible for me to bring it at the lower price and sell it to her at the price of the old piece?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: You are an agent, and the agent is entrusted, so it is not permissible for him to increase beyond what he has purchased, and he must inform the principal of the same price he bought it for, and God knows best.
