Taking Ramadan Packages for Those Who Accumulate Debts
A young man works as a barber and has accumulated debts and expenses for his children, knowing that they do not live with him. Is he sinful if he takes from the Ramadan packages?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: It is permissible to take from the Ramadan distributions for anyone who is poor; because they are usually from the almsgiving (zakat), and God knows best.
