Taking People's Money Unjustly
A person deceived a group of people, taking their money under the pretext of opening a restaurant, then fled with this money and did not return anything to them. What is the ruling on that?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: His action is forbidden, and the money must be returned to its owners, and God knows best.
