Taking from Charity for the Deceased
My aunt has passed away, and we want to slaughter two sheep for her soul and distribute them. Is it permissible for us to take from them?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is preferable for you to distribute it to the poor to earn reward, and it is permissible for you to take and eat from it, and God knows best.
