Taking Debt from Charity Money
A person gave you a certain amount of charity for a specific person, and you have a debt on him. Should I take the amount and then tell him that I have the amount and then ask for my debt?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: You can tell him that you have a charity for him, and if he agrees to take it, it is permissible; otherwise, it is not; because you are entrusted with what is in your hand to deliver to him, and God knows best.
