Swimming During Fasting
What is the ruling on swimming during fasting, knowing that there is a slight possibility of water entering through the nose, ear, or mouth unintentionally?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Swimming is permissible while fasting, but if water enters his stomach through his mouth or nose, he breaks his fast even if it was unintentional, and God knows best.
