Swallowing Food at Dawn in Ramadan
What is the ruling on swallowing the morsel that is in the mouth at the time of the Fajr call to prayer?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: After the start of the second call to prayer, it is forbidden to swallow any food or drink, and whoever swallows something must make up for it and perform expiation, and God knows best.
