Studying at a School that Distorts the Quran
In Yemen, we learned the Holy Quran as it is in the Mushaf, but now with the Houthis entering our governorate, they have removed some words from the Quran and altered some hadiths. Is it permissible for us to continue our education in schools, or should we leave the schools and memorize from the Mushaf at home?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: You should continue education in schools, and the Quran is preserved from distortion no matter what the distorters do, and God knows best.
