Stealing Wine to Prevent Its Owner from Drinking
Is it permissible to steal or hide a bottle of wine, for example, from its owner to prevent them from drinking?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If one is able to prevent wrongdoing by destroying or breaking it, it is permissible. If one can only do so by speaking, then they should speak, and God knows best.
