Sponsoring an Orphan of the Mother
Is it permissible to sponsor an orphan of the mother, whose father is alive and mother is deceased? Is he considered one of the orphans who can be sponsored?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is permissible to sponsor him on the condition that the father is poor; because the young son is wealthy by the wealth of his father, and God knows best.
