Question

I am traveling from Egypt to perform the Hajj pilgrimage, and I will perform Umrah first and then complete the Ihram. Should we continue with the Hajj and only slaughter after throwing the Jamrat al-Aqaba with the intention of the ritual, or is it required to slaughter after completing the Umrah with the intention of completion?

Answer

I say, and with God's help: This is the Hajj of the one who enjoys (Tamattu‘), he performs Umrah and then exits the state of Ihram, then he enters the state of Ihram for Hajj, and he is required to sacrifice a sheep on the day of Eid al-Adha for that, and God knows best.
