We were blessed with a baby boy, and before we could perform the Aqiqah (slaughter the Aqiqah) for him, our friend from Kuwait informed us that he has bequeathed to us the slaughtering of two sheep in Africa and attached a video explaining the distribution of the sacrifices, with 'Aqiqah for the name of our newborn' written on it. Does this suffice instead of his father performing the Aqiqah?
