Sitting for the Tashahhud in the Third Rak'ah
What is the ruling on the obligatory prayer if we sat in the third rak'ah and recited the Tashahhud, then remembered and stood up for the fourth rak'ah?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If you sit for the Tashahhud after the third Rak'ah and then stand for the fourth, you are required to perform the prostration of forgetfulness; because you have performed the Tashahhud in the wrong place, and God knows best.
