Shortening the Greeting of Peace
Is it permissible to shorten the greeting of peace in text messages, for example, 'S A' or to respond similarly, or to respond with 'Upon you' or 'Upon you what you mentioned'?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: In writing, it is permissible to abbreviate if the symbols are known and indicate that, but in speech, it requires stating the full greeting of peace. And God knows best.
