A woman, when fasting became obligatory for her, did not adhere to it and did not make up for the days she missed, and she does not know the number of days she missed. What should she do in this case?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: She must estimate how many days she has fasted and make up for them, and she has one expiation of sixty days for all the previous instances of breaking the fast, and God knows best.
