Selling the Installment Goods
I needed money, so I bought mobile phone cards from a wholesaler for 200 dinars on installment, agreeing to pay 260 dinars after two months. I sold them for 196 dinars to a second trader. I lost money in this deal, but I did it to get cash right now. Is this transaction usury (riba) or haram?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: As long as the sale occurred with someone other than the one from whom you bought, it is permissible, and there is no usury in it, and God knows best.
