Question
In the case of an abandoned endowment farm that has become land among a group of palm trees, is it permissible to sell it and use the money to purchase a building or something else, and have it be an endowment?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If the endowment reaches a state where it is no longer beneficial in its current condition, it is permissible to replace it. We need a committee of good and experienced people to estimate this, so they can replace it with something that will benefit the Muslims. And God knows best.
