Seeking Forgiveness Without Being Aware of Its Meaning
Sometimes I seek forgiveness without being aware that I am doing so, and other supplications, or in other words, I do not feel their meaning. Do I receive a reward?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Your reward will be in proportion to your presence of mind regarding its meaning and its effect on you, and God knows best.
