Seeing Purity Before the End of the Postpartum Period
I am postpartum for almost a month. Yesterday, a clear fluid came out, which is the white discharge, and I purified myself and had intercourse. Today, I noticed a very small amount of blood again. Are we sinful?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: We ask Allah, the Exalted, for forgiveness; because if the blood returns within forty days, you are still in a state of postpartum bleeding, and Allah knows best.
