Sadaqah of Water
So-and-so has a place with clean water, and the neighbors come to take from this water, and this person intends for the water to be a continuous charity. Does this intention count, and will he receive the reward of continuous charity?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: Water is considered a continuous charity, and the intention for it is valid, and it carries the reward of charity. And God knows best.
