Ruling on Zakat for Ornamental Gold from Previous Years
If gold is purchased for the purpose of adornment and remains unused for a long time, is it subject to zakat?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If the gold reaches 100 grams, zakat is obligatory in all cases, for adornment and otherwise, and God knows best.
