Ruling on Wiping Over the Scarf
Why is it permissible to wipe over the turban, but not permissible to wipe over the scarf or headscarf, even though a woman needs to perform ablution outside the home, and removing the hijab to wipe over the head can sometimes be quite difficult?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is not permissible to wipe over the turban or the scarf, and wiping is required on the head, and God knows best.
