Ruling on Wiping Over the Medical Support
The support is complete like a colon, covering the legs and calves up to the waist area. Is it permissible to wipe over it after wearing it while in a state of purity?
Answer
If it is thick enough that the skin color cannot be seen through it, and water does not penetrate, it is permissible to wipe over it. If it is thin, it is not permissible to wipe over it unless a thick sock is worn over it, in which case it is permissible to wipe over the thick sock. And Allah knows best.
