Ruling on the Use of Scented Cleaners During the Waiting Period
A woman whose husband has passed away, what materials can she use for bathing, considering that all types of soap and shampoo currently have a fragrant scent? And for children, what is the permissible age for them to enter upon her?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If such a scent is incidental, and not intended for adornment, then it is permissible, and it is not allowed for anyone who is of age, meaning someone who has reached the age of twelve or thirteen, to enter without a mahram. And God knows best.
