Ruling on the Travel of a Woman in Iddah
A woman whose mother is alone, her father passed away two weeks ago, and she wants to bring her mother to Turkey. Is that permissible?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: It is not permissible for a woman in her waiting period to go out or travel unless there is a necessity due to fear or temptation, and God knows best.
