Ruling on the Transition of a Mourning Woman to a Place Other Than Her Husband's House
Her husband passed away a month and a half ago, and her brother-in-law wants to marry her and has stated this. To avoid problems for herself, she wants to move to her family's house and complete her mourning period there. Is this permissible for her?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If she fears for herself the temptation, it is permissible for her to move to another house where she feels safe for herself, and God knows best.
