Ruling on the Prayer of the Latecomer
If a worshiper arrives and the imam is in the final tashahhud of the Friday prayer, should he complete his prayer as a latecomer?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If the imam is caught in the Tashahhud, he is considered to be preceded, and he must perform two rak'ahs, and God knows best.
