Ruling on the Prayer of Tasbih
The Sheikh mentioned during his talk about the Prayer of Tasbih: 'If the hadith is authentic,' why did he not verify the authenticity of the hadith before conveying it? And if the hadith about the Prayer of Tasbih is not authentic, would this act of worship be considered an innovation?
Answer
I say, and with God's guidance: The Hadith of the glorifications is among the authentic Hadiths, and Imam al-Laknawi has elaborated on it in "Al-Athar Al-Marfou'a fi Al-Ahadith Al-Mawdu'a"; it should be referred to, and God knows best.
