I say, and with God's success: Based on the established rules of inheritance from the companions, the followers, and the imams of religion, the son of the son does not inherit if his father dies before his grandfather; because if we say that he inherits because he is in greater need than others, being an orphan, it would be a ruling based on whims and emotions and not on principles; because it leads to the absence of the most prominent rules of inheritance in organizing the rulings; as this leads us to the idea of inheriting the deceased, which is impossible; because the deceased does not own, or the disregard of the classes in inheritance, which undermines all rules of inheritance. Just as every science has rules that must be adhered to in its application, we must adhere to the rules of Sharia and inheritance to achieve justice and fairness in delivering rights, and God knows best.
