Question
The Imam led the congregation in the Dhuhr prayer, and he testified in the third and fifth rak'ahs but did not prostrate for forgetfulness. What are the consequences for him and the worshippers?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If he sat at the end of the fifth (rak'ah), his prayer and the prayer of those following him are valid. If he did not sit, the prayer is invalid, and they must repeat it. And God knows best.
