Ruling on the Exposure of the Worshiper's Private Parts
The private parts of the imam were exposed during his prayer with the congregation for a long time without him realizing it. Does this invalidate the prayer of the followers? What is the ruling on the imam?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If the exposure of a quarter of a limb, such as the thigh or the buttock, lasts for a complete pillar (of prayer), it invalidates his prayer and the prayer of the worshippers. And God knows best.
