Ruling on the Demand for Alimony by the Abandoned Wife
A wife whose husband has married another woman and abandoned her while she is in his house, is it permissible for her to demand alimony knowing that the husband's salary is pledged to the bank due to debts?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: He is obligated to provide for her, and she is allowed to demand it, and God knows best.
