Question
A woman was pregnant, and the fetus died in her womb at five months, and she underwent a curettage procedure. The bleeding stopped after twenty days. Is it permissible for her to pray, read the Quran, and have intercourse with her husband? Or should she wait until she completes forty days?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If the postpartum bleeding stops before the forty days, the woman becomes pure, and she has the rulings of the pure women, and God knows best.
