Ruling on the Cessation of Blood During Menstruation

Question
A woman after childbirth has had a change in her menstrual cycle; the bleeding stopped for two days and then resumed. Are these two days considered menstruation?
Answer

I say, and with God's success: If the blood flows within ten days, then what occurs of purity during that time is considered part of the menstruation, so these two days are counted as menstruation, and God knows best.
