Ruling on the Agent Distributing Zakat Money
The questioner says: A woman was appointed to distribute Zakat money to the needy, is it permissible for her to take from the Zakat money if she is in need of this money without the knowledge of the one giving Zakat?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: It is not permissible for her to take the money; because she is an agent in giving it to others, unless she is explicitly or implicitly permitted to do so, and God knows best.
