Ruling on Tayammum on a Pillow
Is it permissible to strike the hands on a pillow for tayammum instead of striking on the soil?
Answer
I say, and with God's help: If there is visible dust on the pillow, or it comes out when shaken, then it is permissible to perform tayammum on it, and God knows best.
