Ruling on Tayammum Due to Major Impurity Because of My Illness
A woman suffers from asthma, and her doctor has required her to refrain from bathing for extended periods and under certain conditions. Is it permissible for her to perform tayammum after sexual relations, especially since her husband does not take her health condition into consideration?
Answer
I say, and with God's success: If washing her is harmful to her, it is permissible for her to perform tayammum, and she should not refrain if she is requested to do so due to the allowance for her. And God knows best.
